Q: Why would I go to this?

  • Maybe you have experienced flooding in the past OR you know that more water is projected from costal surge, stormwater and even underground water tables.

  • Recovery from flooding can be expensive. But solutions can range in cost. Perhaps you may have questions about various options: from your basement, to the sewer, to the backyard to insurance.

  • You want to talk to experts and compare notes with neighbors.

Q: Does this cost anything to attend?

  • No. Free to come in and browse. You can stay for 15 min or 2 hours.

Q: Who are the local experts?

  • We bring together trades people and city / policy people. So local business who are on the frontlines of flooding solutions everyday and have different solutions options you can compare. Along with local elected officials, non-profits, policy experts who know what city and state are doing as well what programs are out there that can help you pay for it.

Q: Why do I need to register?

  • Similar events have sold out and we want to make sure people have room so we will do first come-first-served with registration.
